Term One

We started the year with what was a new challenge for our year 7's.
Optimist yachting on pandora pond was fun for all - we could have done with a bit more wind!!
After studying Marae protocol we visited Houngarea Marae at Pakipaki. Although we couldn't get inside, we had fun and explored the old church where Mother Suzanne Aubert set up the Maori mission and worked with the local people.
